From our place we can ride into the Coronado National Forest and perhaps see Deer, Javalina, Coyotes, and many other desert animals and birds. Or you can ride in the Catalina State Park, which is a quarter mile from our gates and choose to ride on the flat lands, through the washes or in the mountainous areas. Either way, you can ride for all day or a short ride.
There are many friendly riders in the area and lots of "snow-birds" with whom to exchange stories.
Within three miles from our campgrounds are shopping centers with everything you could want and plenty of good restaurants, as well as feed and tack stores. The Biosphere and golf courses are close by. Tucson has the missions, the Desert Museum, Old Tucson, Indian celebrations and casinos, sporting events and a short hop on down to old Mexico.
